Our Founder
Dr. Leslie Griffin is a marriage educator, ministry consultant, author, speaker, and creator of the DLG Marriage Development System™ and the Marriage Champs Coaching Certification™ program. She holds a Ph.D. in Family Studies, a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and brings more than 15 years of experience in ministry leadership, education, coaching, and consulting.
Throughout her career, Dr. Griffin has served over 500 couples and ministry leaders, helping them strengthen relationships, develop leadership capacity, and create healthier marriage cultures within their homes, churches, and communities.

Marriage Champs was founded on a simple belief: strong marriages create stronger families, healthier churches, and more vibrant communities.
What began in 2014 as an effort to support couples through education, coaching, and marriage enrichment experiences gradually evolved into something bigger.
As the work expanded, a pattern began to emerge. It was clear that churches cared deeply about marriage ministry and were committed to helping couples succeed, but their efforts were often disconnected.
Marriage conferences, date nights, and small groups provided valuable opportunities for connection and growth, but churches lacked a clear strategy for developing couples consistently over time.
Today, Marriage Champs helps churches move beyond isolated events and build intentional pathways for marriage development. Through assessment, leadership training, certification, and implementation support, churches gain the tools, structure, and strategy needed to strengthen marriages year-round.
